Sure I can definitely make room. As long as you don't mind waiting ^_^ ( I usually work on drawings depending on what inspires me so I cant really guarantee the order)

Thanks!

@Aeronwen - thanks I am glad you liked it!

@Tommy - Thanks! Frost wanted the dark look and I am glad to know that I have achieved it without making the pic too dark ^^ . And yeah I always look for tutorial and adjust my techniques. I also tend to bother some really good artists in DA for advise and then I combine different techniques that I gather to create my own style

Oh and here's Frost's final art without the watermark. Thank you Frostkisses!

Thanks! Here's a couple of stuff that I changed from my previous artworks in case some people could use the tip/info.

1. Tried a semi-lineless look

I usually get scared of overwriting/erasing my lineart..but my linearts are so awkwardly crooked so that kind of backfires on me sometimes. I end up spending too much time smoothing out the lineart when I could've just easily painted over them and get a more fluid look. I dont know had I stayed left-handed if this would be a little different for me (was born a lefty..but was forced to be right-handed which is the hand I use to draw. I still use my left hand for chopsticks..which is an indication that my left hand could've been more precise if I drew with it. lol maybe I should experiment ).

I am not trying to go the shortcut route though. Some artists feel very comfortable and work so damn well with outlined drawings. I just find them too bothersome in a way that it actually kills my momentum and I end up working on drawings longer than they are meant to be. So yeah expect a more line-less style from me in the future.

This is more of a style choice than anything. Like I said, I am still in the process of getting my real identity in drawing and so far, semi-lineless art is what I prefer and it meshes with my style well.

2. Reflected light as outline - If you compare Frost's art with the mesmer in oby armor one, this is the difference. You'd see that I finally gathered up the confidence to use highlights as outline on certain spots of Frost's drawing. I got this advise from an artist in DA when I asked for opinion. It gave the drawing a whole new dimension and worked so well with the lighting I used in Frost's art.

If I can summarize what I wrote... The main thing that I changed in this latest art is that : I gathered more confidence. Something that we can all achieve especially after lots of practice so yeah don't stop painting

And I still havent decided on the next commission art. Let me check the list later and see if a concept strikes my fancy.

Stuff has been hectic last week and I really didnt get the chance to work on art. Then today I thought that it's been awhile since I drew portraits and male characters. Been mostly experimenting on this one so it looks kinda rough..never did color blocking before..I was thinking of refining this but then I overwrote my layered version with the merged version.. So this is it for this one -_-"

It's my ranger

Next commish would be Raiden's. I already have a pose drafted for his necro

@Frostkisses

Wow as an avatar that looks great. Gj on the cropping. And great job as always ravenhawk! Although the legs look to be a bit skinny, or perhaps its the placement of the knee.

Yup, I cropped Frostkisses' avatar. Also added a white 1 px border and sharpened the image a bit.

Yeah I realized that I made the thighs too thin/long in Frost's commish after awhile. So I tried to correct it now. Here's Raiden's preview. I actually restarted the art because I didnt like the original pose I used anymore and couldnt bring myself to draw it lol.
